Platform Terms

Terms

These terms govern the use of Ancestra as a family-governed digital memorial and heritage record system. They describe how accounts, clusters, memorial workflows, and platform controls are expected to be used.

Foundation

Family-Controlled Records

Ancestra is designed for family-governed memorial and cluster records. Access, edits, assignments, and activations are controlled through family roles and verification workflows.

Foundation

Permanent Archival Intent

The product is built for long-term memorial preservation, not casual posting or social engagement. Users should act with care appropriate to permanent family archives.

Foundation

Verified Operational Flows

Cluster reservation, slot assignment, memorial activation, privacy settings, and safety reporting all operate through explicit product workflows rather than informal requests.

Use Of Service

Core Terms Of Use

Eligibility And Accounts

  • You must provide accurate registration details and maintain control of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for actions taken through your account, including family membership, memorial edits, and reservation requests.
  • We may suspend access where account activity appears fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with family governance rules.

Clusters, Spaces, And Memorial Records

  • A cluster reservation grants structured capacity within a heritage zone according to the plan selected at purchase.
  • Assigned spaces and activated memorial records must reflect real family authority and accurate lineage context.
  • Activated memorial content is intended to be archival in character and should not be treated as disposable or promotional content.

Payments And Reservation Status

  • Cluster reservation and purchase flows are subject to payment verification and system confirmation.
  • A reservation may expire, fail, or be released if payment is not completed through the supported workflow.
  • Completed purchases, access, and inventory availability remain subject to platform rules, technical limits, and fraud review.

Verification, Privacy, And Visibility

  • Memorial activation may require designated family verification and delay safeguards before a record becomes active.
  • Families are responsible for choosing whether a cluster or memorial should remain private or become publicly visible.
  • Public visibility should only be used where the family intends the memorial to be discoverable through the public registry.
